International Foxhunting Exchange 2007
February 3rd-14th, 2008
The 2007 International Foxhunting Exchange was held in England. Members invited from Ireland and the United States flew into Manchester Airport and joined the GB contingent in York. Participants embarked on their journey home from Heathrow Airport. Hunting was in Yorkshire, in the North of England and Wiltshire, in the South West of the country, with a variety of hunts, all recognised by the Masters of Foxhounds Association.
Teams and chaperones stayed with Pony Club host families or hunt members, had meals with them, and were transported to hunt meets with the host families. In addition to hunting, there was a trip to York, for sightseeing and shopping, kennel tours and many opportunities to socialise.
Pictures from the exchange as well as a write up from one of the participants can be viewed on the USPC Foxhunting website.
